Back in the day, scarlet dye was used to adorn the ten curtains of the Tabernacle, the screen for the one doorway of the Tabernacle, and the veil separating the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies. Think of the beautiful garments of the high priest, yes, Jesus became our "merciful and faithful high priest." Scarlet also was the robe the Roman soldiers placed on Christ, mocking Him with their cry, "Hail, King of the Jews." And then there was Rehab and the crimson thread….
